Our empowerment programs offer skills training, leadership development, and mindset transformation workshops designed to equip youth with the confidence and capabilities to tackle the challenges they face.
We nurture the next generation of leaders who are not afraid to question the status quo and who are driven to create innovative solutions for their communities.
Compassion and kindness are at the heart of our work. We actively support the Vulnerable and needy in our communities through donation projects, provision of essential resources, and targeted outreach programs.

At Otinibi, students experienced science and mathematics in a new way through the Dext Science Set. From building circuits to creating moving models, they discovered that the subjects they learn in class can be applied in practical, exciting, and innovative ways. With the support of AIMS Ghana, this outreach showed an entire classroom that STEM is not distant or abstract, it is within their reach.
Through the Dext Science Set, The girls at Otinibi experienced science and mathematics in action, building circuits, experimenting, and solving problems with their own hands. The program inspired many to see new possibilities, with some deciding to take maths and science more seriously and even explore fields like coding and engineering.
On December 30, 2022, the Early Smile Foundation, with the support of kind donors and dedicated medical professionals, reached out to some of the most vulnerable members of our community (young mothers and their newborns). At the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (Child Health and Obstetric Units), we donated essential baby supplies to families who had so little. At the Mamprobi Polyclinic, we went a step further by covering the medical bills of young mothers who could not afford life-saving care. For some, this support meant the difference between despair and relief, giving them the space to recover, nurture their babies, and breathe again. Our founder, Ms. Elizabeth Cornell Afrakomah Awuku, shared her birthday with these mothers and their little ones, finding joy in the faces of women who, for a moment, felt seen and supported. Among them was a fragile preterm baby, abandoned at Korle Bu. The nurses named him Bridget after his mother. Meeting him was both heartbreaking and hopeful this gave us a reminder of why our work matters. This act of compassion offered not just material aid, but a renewed sense of dignity and hope. It is our prayer that these mothers and their babies continue to smile, grow in good health, and know that they are not alone.
